Okay.. those of you that know me know that my July was INCREDIBLY busy. I was not home for more then a day until a week after Otakon.

So, with about 2 weeks until AX... my friend Aya talked me into being her Sakito so she wouldn't be alone as Miyabi. u.u; I'd already attempted to make Yuna's wedding dress with a month so go, but gave up due to not knowing how to make the wing things/not having feathers for the wings.

The pants I found at target and then took out the bell bottom look/hemmed them a bit. The shirt... I used a pattern off one I had, and used a kind of.. light-weight semi-stretchy fabric. Then me and my mom bought a yard of that home dec pleather crap and sew it on. PAIN IN THE ASS. >.< Took a lot of tries to get right. The gloves I had from NDK 2001 when I did a little BL costume (don't ask. ^_^ not cosplay related.)

They were too big, so I fitted them to my hands exactly. Yes, I sewed them one handed AND left handed while they were on me. x.x that was so hard. For the rings on the gloves I took a couple keyrings and tacked them on. The holes took some editing too... but in the end I'm very happy with them.

The boots I bought in Harajuku, I was in Japan for two weeks after AX. I also bought the belts in Harajuku, and when I got them home I took an old chain purse-strap, and some wire from an old science project and attached it. ^_^ I'm happy with the end result.

I then bought blue spray in, and let Die-chan and Krystal do my hair and make-up. That was quite an experiance ^^;; This was my first acquaintence with ICE hairspray. That stuff is AWESOME.
