In exchange for borrowing her lovely Katara costume, I promised to join Umi in some old-school Here Is Greenwood cosplay madness. These costumes are from the dorm movie "Here Is Devilwood." I am Lemon Herb (aka Ikeda Mitsuru) and Umi is Cool Mint (aka Tezuka Shinobu).

I learned a bunch from this costume. I had to draft patterns for the cloak, bracers, scabbard, and tunic. I worked with linen, vinyl, and jersey for the first time. I learned that I still hate bias tape and never want to do a costume involving it again (18 YARDS WTF). And finally, I learned that poofy 80's bangs really don't look right on me.
