My first anime cosplay <3 Worn along with my boyfriend's Sousake <3

--Creation--
I slacked off a bit on this one. The shirt was a modified shirt I bought: I removed the sleeves, added the cuffs and gathered them to gain the puffiness. The shirt was taken in as well, the bottom band was added on. The collar was actually slipped over the original collar.
The skirt was a custom pleated skirt pattern which was a lot of fun to sew @.@ so much ironing.
The bows were made from a custom pattern.
The wig was actually in huge ringlets when I bought it. I had to straighten it then cut and style it. At first the styling was half-assed, but I re did it better later.
I bought the black socks, the pink converse, and made the harisen.

--Good Stuff--
Playing the part of Chidori was great. I really liked her when I watched the anime with my boyfriend since Chidori and Sousake were like exaggerated versions of ourselves. Hitting him with the harisen was great, and the skirt turned out lovely.

--Bad Stuff--
The shirt went through a beating when I made it. Theres a lot of problems with it I don't even want to talk about. And also, if it weren't for Chidori's hair being tied up the wig would've been a horror to wear...

--Memorable Moments--

That and going to a fair grounds after a con and playing on fair rides in the cosplay <3

While it wasn't my best cosplay, or the most recongised or anything... I really did enjoy wearing the cosplay just for the characters sake. I had a lot of fun <3
