Claire has always been my favorite Resident Evil character, so I was thrilled when I found out she was going to be in the new movie! I looked much closer to the movie Claire, so this costume was a definite!

Finding the sunglasses was the luckiest part! I had originally bought them for my man, but when I went to see the movie dressed as her, I asked to borrow the ones I had given him. They turned out to be an exact match!

While doing this costume, it was the hardest thing not to freak OUT! I had a ton of things almost go horribly wrong on this one and I'm very glad it turned out as well as it did. There were times though, that I thought I was gonna lose it!

At this point, probably the boots are the worst part. I had to borrow them off a friend and they're not made quite right, but they were the best I could find. There are a lot of little things that bug me about it (colors, size, etc.), but I guess it'll never look EXACTLY like the original. I'll probably end up tweaking it a bit more though.

EDIT: Since these photos were taken, I've managed to update this costume with the screen-accurate gun, and working on a better jacket, boots, and more finished harness. As soon as it is more complete, I will get some more pics up.
