quite a few people took my picture in this one. i got some hugs, too. i wore this one at ACen 07 and Metrocon 07. at Metrocon, people were surprised to find that it was a wig i was wearing.
there weren't nearly as many L cosplayers at ACen, that i saw, as there were at Metro. so while, at the time, when a girl giddily approached me and asked for a hug, it wasn't that spectacular, now i remember it fondly. i couldn't keep my face straight, and the more i learn about L, the more i realize that maybe he wouldn't have been able to, either - not with a girl so excited to see him, anyway. =)
