Given that Kenshin is probably the most popular character I've ever cosplayed, I've been working hard at doing as much of it myself as possible, and doing the best I can. I want to be able to stand out as having put thought and effort into it, and also be able to say that *I* made this costume, not just bought the costume pieces. I'm even being really anal and making the sandals myself.
