This is the first time I've made a costume without any kind of pattern. Well, I used a cloak pattern as the basis for the cloak and it turned out quite nicely, but the dress is entirely "winging it" and I think I learned a lot in the process. Still trying to figure out how to get those pleats right,and I have to line the cloak but it's very close to being done. My husband did a very nice job with the sword.
