This was by far the most challenging costume I've ever attempted. But .hack//GU is one of my favorite games of all time, and I knew I had to do Haseo's costume. Haseo is a great character, and I just love him to bits.

The costume was constructed completely out of vinyl but I used real belt buckles that I bought downtown and spray-painted. It was uncomfy, but I spent so long on it, I know I'm wearing it again.

I made the swords myself too. They're my first props besides my struggle stick. I made them completely out of wonderflex with a styrofoam base.

My sister and I entered the ALA masquerade in these costumes and won Best in Novice Division for Our Craftsmanship! It was our first Masquerade, so we were super excited. :3
