I -made- this.

My twist on making this was to make it as close as I could to what a -real- military uniform like this would be. I modeled the ribbons after the real US Army ribbons (my own :)). I used a fabric that was as close as I could find to what is used in a Class-A Army uniform.

I attempted to make something that was exactly between battle-dress uniform and a formal uniform. (hence the gray outlining instead of silver). I modeled the pants after my old (std. issue) cargo pants. I even used my Sergeant epaulettes to get the color for the rank stripes and braid. I also cut the pants to fit high (very high) on my waist to more closely match the proportions of the characters in the series.

It took about 6 test runs with cheapo fabric to get the tailoring right.
