I had an urge to make an Abyss costume, I loved the character, and I had a ton of white fabric.

The photos are a bit washed out/too contrasty- but the tabard is hand dyed, with the proper gradient underneath the white bias tape- darker at the edges, fading out at the middle. It was awesome to work on, and looks pretty nifty in person even if it doesn't capture well on camera.

The wig is also dyed using the FW ink method- I'm in love with the process and the effect now, so I'll be using it more.

Sadly, not a costume I can run around and take photos in.
