Ice/Winter Fairy

I wanted a head start on Renn Faire this year; last year I ended up making a very simple costume 3 days before the event. I wanted something purty and more elaborate this year!
The white shirt and skirt were made from some silky fabric I found at Wal-Mart. I was having troubles with it in version 1 of this costume, when I made a tight shirt out of it. Now that I only have a loose chemise and a skirt with an elastic waistband using it, it's ok ^^. The blue sheer is some stuff I found at Joann in the fashion fabric aisle. The vest/corset is a blue cotton overlaid with some semi-transparent white fabric I also found in Joann's fashion fabric aisle.
I used a decorative diamond stitch across the chemise and skirt (which doesn't show up in pics well). I used a gradient-dyed thread for that stitch, so it looks really neat ^^. The drop sleeves are shell-stitched on the edges and attached to some scrunchies I found at Walmart. All of the beads are premade trims also found at Walmart.
The wings are made from a 1mm plastic called Lexan. They are painted with silver metallic paint and blue puff paints. There are also over 150 rhinestones attached to them ^^.
