I now understand why everyone and their goat cosplay's from Death Note; because it's RIDICULOUSLY easy. The whole reason I even considered this character is because my friend makes an insanely good Light, and I wanted something new, and quick.

A trip to the thrift store turned up this. The combination of clothes, jewelry, and wig, cost me a total of about 60-65 dollars. Like most Misa cosplays, it does not actually replicate any of her outfits featured in the series, but is instead inspired by the STYLE of clothing she usually wears. It was an experiment in fashion and creativity, more than a Serious Cosplay Project. Even so, I found it very enjoyable to wear, and have worn it many times since. It really reminded me about what I REALLY love about cosplaying.
