A version of Sasori I'm making for a friend of mine.

[She already has the pants, and legwarmers, I believe.]
12.25.07 -- Recieved the Scruffy Wig.
2.12.08 -- Ordered Wonderflex, Friendly Plastic, and Fosshape.

I'm planning out several ways to construct the costume.. Only problem is the fact that the person I'm making it for doesn't want the blade wings until a later convention [ACen, most likely]. So, I have to find a way to attatch them later on, and yet keep them stable, as well as keep her happy and able to walk through doorways. Hmm...
First and foremost, I'll either make the base out of wire, or I'll just make a simple duct tape dummy. Not entirely sure which, yet.
The plan thus far is, I'll make the upper torso in two main pieces -- The upper chest area, and the lower stomach area, in which I'll somehow incorperate an invisible zipper on the side, or something around those lines, so it's formfitting, and wearable.
The upper chest area will cut off around the collerbone area, so it's still wearable without having to include a hinge or zipper. As for the joints on the arms, I'll most likely construct a thick "C" shape out of Wonderflex or Fosshape, no bigger than the size of her shoulder, so it'll snap right in place. I'll be constructing the cord out of rope, but I'll weave a thick wire into a good portion of it, so it'll retain its shape, instead of just hanging downward.
Lets just hope this goes according to plan.

I'm still figuring out a way to attatch the scrolls, but I think that'll turn out to be the easiest thing to construct and attatch out of this entire project. xD

Still need:
An Akatsuki cloak.
Sandals.
Lots and lots and lots of either acryllic or spray paint.
TO STYLE THE DAMN WIG. D:
