This costume I worked on and off for over a year. The chainmail I started before I even got into cosplay. Originally this was going to be a Halloween costume, only I got sidetracked by Hellsing and decided to chance my costume to Alucard instead.

Once I had gone to a couple of cons I finally finished up the chainmail and started the rest of the costume. The scabbard I had help cutting the base pieces out on as I do not have many decent woodworking tools. The sword is insulation foam covered in fiberglass. The shield I made later out of plastic with help from my uncle with some vacuum forming. I then made the raised parts in bondo and fiberglass. I learned a lot while working on this costume between all the sewing, making chainmail, working on props and boot covers, and leather work.
