I started work on this costume in early 2007, though I was planning for it before that.

The head is made primarily of Wonderflex, though the ears are HUGE and have cardboard in the middle of them. The head is fairly heavy, as the ears are around two feet long and, obviously, there are two of them. The tail (though it's difficult to see in most pictures) is also big, and puffy like a pillow. It's really comfy sitting in panels and such with the tail against my back. It's connected to my body through a belt-like apparatus to keep it from dragging on the ground and make it stand up, though lately for some reason the tail has taking to hanging off to one side.

The biggest challenge regarding this costume is seeing out of it. The eyes were made out of painted socks, of all things (making them hard to see through), and I can only see out of one of them at a time! Still, I'm able to mostly navigate by myself in it. I prefer to have friends around so they can make sure I don't bump into people, but if all else fails I can handle walking around in it by myself.
