royal blue cotton fabric, along with a lighter blue cotton for the obi. i'm making this because i want to wear a colorful kimono instead of my black one. i don't want to be a dark Kaoru, but a cheerful one to match the Kenshin group i am meeting up with. and my Kenshin gave me a gorgeous blue ribbon for my hair!!!

i am also stenciled in some sakura blossoms on the bottom of the kimono and from the left side of the neck on my shoulder. i painted the cherry blossoms afterwards. since i can't draw, i cut out some pictures i printed from the internet.

the wig i styled too. i had my sister wear it while i brused it into a medium ponytail.
