Description

The Tom Servo puppet was the most complex component of this. He's a nearly total screen-accurate, completely working copy of the puppet from the show. The main difference is the white bowl on the bottom. Mine is much larger than the standard bowl used for Servo. I find it adds a lot more stability to the bot, for example when placing him down on a table or something. It is also easier to covertly work his puppetry while carrying him. Thanks to some creative rigging with rubber bands and looped strings, I can turn his head and work his mouth with my middle and index fingers while carrying him around in a natural position. Carrying a "live" bot adds so much to the costume. Now all I have to do is learn ventriloquism...

The jumpsuit is a standard blue janitors' jumpsuit, with the "Gizmonics" breast patch drawn in black and yellow marker on an adhesive white fabric patch.

The hardhat is a standard plastic hardhat with the Gizmonic "G" logo drawn on in marker. Joel only wore such a hat during the show's opening credits, but it's fun to wear and beats trying to find a hairpiece that looks anything like Joel hair. Also, I imagine it protects me from falling debris.
