Haku is my favorite Naruto character. I may be the wrong gender and a decade older than him, but I wanted to cosplay him anyways.
The costume was fairly simple but hit a ton of snags. My friends helped me rush to finish it, which is why some things are off. I'm a terrible procrastinator.
The wig was fairly easy to style, it just tangled up a lot. I made the bun cover and green / brown beaded thing, the silver beads are painted spools. The worst part of the wig is all of the weight in the back, I had to go back to the room for a wig break while wearing it.
The headband and technique scroll pencil case were purchased, I did make a blue band for the headband (it came with black).
The sweater, pants and belt all started as white. Believe it or not they were actually in the same exact dyebath. Although they were both cotton, the sweater took the dye much better than the fabric did. After two attempts, this was it. I want to buy fabric that matches the brown of the sweater to remake the pants and belt. The jacket is made from leftover Magi and Jean materials.
Make-up was fun, that's mascara on my naturally blonde eyebrows. I'm also wearing gold eyeshadow since several colored pictures of Haku show that. The photos don't always show it, but my fingers and toes are painted blue.
I also made Zabuza's clothing, but he made the sword.
