I love this character! So I decided to do the costume for 2008 Tenerife's Carnivals. The most recycled costume I ever did lol!
I could recycle the clothes I wear under the big coat, I already had them ^_^ and the same for the sandals, white socks and the hat.
This cosplay is really funny to do. The bandana was made with cardboard and soft paper, coloured with aluminium paint, and sticked to black fabric I found around my house. The symbol of konoha was made with black nail polish and the ray in the middle with a box cutter. The silver necklace was made with same materials and methods, and I used black cord to tie it.
I found the hat in my house, it was from a costume I did in school at 9, and I covered it with adhesive paper for furnitures and 13 metres of white cotton ribbon (this cotton ribbon was a bit expensive T_T but I already had the hat and the furniture paper so it didn't hurt my wallet really).
For your information, the fabrics I used were:
* 1 metre red felt
* 2 metres black sailcloth
* 2 metres red lining
* 1/2 metre mesh cloth (for the mesh shirt of course)
* some white fabric I found in my house for the white long socks
* a pair of black long socks and I cut the fingers part. I used my black flipflops (trick of the long socks powa! xD).
* some red jewellery little balls I found around my house and red yarn (no idea what was doing all that in my house again) for the hat.
* 3 and a half tubes of fabric glue.
