I found the most adorable mint colored desserts print in JoAnns quilting section! There wasn't quite enough for a dress, so I ended up making a pinafore instead. Thanks to my friend Wyldbratling who helped me with the design! The only difficult part was the shirring on the top of the pinafore, which was done by hand. The skirt is a gathered rectangle trimmed with pink rickrack. The accent fabric for the straps, waistband, back bow, pockets and hairbow is a pink and white stripe nursery print. Clay cupcake buttons are used on the bodice. The pinafore is worn over an old white blouse and with pink and white striped knee socks. Deco accessories complete the look!
