Description
In anticipation of Final Fantasy XIII and XIII Versus, Ven and I decided to do Lightning and Noctis [even though the game won't be coming out for a long long time]. We really liked the character designs, and we have crazy swords. 8D But during the process, the character designs changed several times so some parts are a synthesis of different concepts.
We started working on Noctis and Lightning in 2007 when there was only one trailer and a few images out. Auugh. The zooming in of pixels!
Anyway, Noctis's sword was all handmade from a variety of materials and objects. The top part of the sword actually glows; it's not Photoshop. :3
