The design is entirely my own. I love Axel, but let's face it, he's another one of those characters that are cosplayed to death. So I decided to stick out from the leather-coated crowd and do my own version. This won't stop me from eventually making an Orgy coat, though, lol.

I can see Axel turning into a little fire demon if he were to fall victim to the wardrobe changes required for some characters in Halloween Town. The horns were the first things I made, and I actually used Elmer's glue to stick them to my forehead. The way the chakrams are chained to the character was inspired by Kratos in God of War.
