My dream costume come to life. I've wanted to do this version of Akane (and Ranma's Romeo to match) for about four or five years now. The outfit's almost complete; Romeo will be done shortly.

The bodice, skirt, and tight portions of the sleeves are done in velvet, with the panel in front and puffs on the sleeves in a silk-look polyester. There is a hat that goes with the outfit that will be done in gold brocade with red velvet accents. There is also supposed to be some black applique on the puffs that will be completed at a later date.

Recently I finished my new Akane wig, and I'm working on the ponyfall that's attached to the hat. Either version works, since she does take that hat off at the end of the episode for more of a Snow White look.
