Whew. This costume... is not gonna be easy, lol.

There's only *B&W* official (manga) pictures of this character to be found, and the only color pics I've found are either fanarts or other cosplayers' interpretations. So... I'm gonna have to 'wing' this costume a bit, heh. But hey - it just gives me a chance to be creative! Hooray!

I've always liked Sesshomaru on 'InuYasha'. He's one of my favorite chars. I saw someone cosplay as Sesshy's mom at AB'08, but it wasn't until I saw this gorgeous fanart pic of Sesshy's mom on DeviantArt that I decided that I'd really like to give her a try.
She's a lot like 'Sesshy' in personality - maybe even a little colder. But at the same time, she has this dignified grace about her that I find really cool. Plus... I really like her outfit, LOL. (It doesn't hurt in a cosplay, right?)

...The only think I'm apprehensive about is that AB' 09 is gonna be in late May, so... I think I'm gonna be sweltering in her kimono & fur wraps. Augh... I get hot just thinking about it! But ah well... such is the price for a cool cosplay.
