this actually started because I wanted to use my graduation gown for something, because I decided not to go to my high school graduation, and it felt a shame to let it go to no use (it would later become the skirt). I made half this costume back in june or july of 2007, then forgot about it until the night before AP 2008 at like 3 AM when my other costume I was making wasn't working out.

It was a bit of a rush job, but I finished it and wore it to the con on saturday. I took a little bit of liberties with the design, since it's based off a single shot of reference from the ending credits.

the wig's a little messier than I'd like, because I had to spike it really late in the morning without the aid of a blowdryer (didn't want to wake the neighbors). for my first serious spiking job, I guess it could have been worse, though.

If I were to wear this again I'd change some things, but then again I probably won't; I just wanted to do this variation first before I hack most of the hair off the wig for gaiden!asch.
