This is the first costume I've ever used embroidery AND real fur and leather on... and I get facial hair - how sweet is that?! XD

Costume took approximately four months to complete. Main fabrics are - Chinese silk brocade, suiting brocade, Oriental-print jacquard, foil lamé, and satin-backed shantung. Fully lined with bemsilk.

The armband is goat leather, the belt is cow leather, and the "tiger" skin is printed cowhide... which makes for a very heavy, very hot cosplay experience.

I was a bit hesitant to use real animal, but goat and cow are not killed specifically for their skin - it is a by-product of their meat; and if they HAVE to die, I would rather see everything used, than have parts of them thrown away like rubbish.
