Description
I designed this outfit ages ago as a homage to j-rock and lolita fashion. It has undergone revisions since its debut at Paradise's Comicon in Toronto and the Moonlight Dance of Anime North 2006. The top doesn't fit anymore, so I made a different one completely.
The skirt is a basic circle pattern. The older blouse is from a basic corset pattern with alterations made to incorporate a zipper back, straps, lacing in the front, and curved hem.
The second blouse was made as a project for college. I had to draft the pattern from scratch and sew the entire thing myself. The back has pleating, the sleeve has godets which can zip up, and the collar closes with a couple snaps.
