This costume was insanely hard for some reason. Making a tuxedo shirt with all the frils and pleats is not easy and then we had to add a frilly colar. The black is satin with all kinds of interfacing and such underneath to make it stay up like an umbrella. There are modified black stretch pants under that, along with shoes that were painted over from soft black to rustoleum red. UNfortunatly the first day of the con I broke my toe in these and the swelling made them crack before the Mascarade judging. The ears are hand made with wire and cloth with quiting backing in the ears. The bow around my neck was taken off of a christmad wreath to get that perfect bow. The tail was sewn from fleece with a coat hanger down it for support.Unfortunatly it looked a lot better on my hanger than it did on me, CLAMP characters are too thin and disporportionate...
