Luffy is the man. XD

Alright, so this was my first attempt at making something without using a pattern. I used random articles of my own clothing as guides for the cutting out the different pieces, but I made guesses about pretty much everything. I'm satisfied with the way it turned out. X3 It ain't perfect, but it's not too bad for my first cosplay.

Pants were altered from these shorts I had lying around. I'd originally wanted to buy boy shorts... but the girl shorts I did end up using worked out fine, I think. All I did was sew the fuzzy stuff to the bottoms.

Straw Hat-kun gave me the biggest headache. Ribbon does not work well! It bunches up. >< So, I used cloth instead, and it looks a little better.

The sandals aren't 100% accurate, but they'll do for now. [EDIT] They were re-done for NYAF '08! ^^ Much better now.
