It's a white karate gi, with the sleeves taken off & elastic added to the pant cuffs; a white turtleneck, with the sleeves shortened; Cobra Sigil was ironed-on to one of the gi sleeves, cut out, then sewn on (all the work on the costume was done by the lovely Maury, thanks Em!!); boxing/martial art hand wraps were (sort of) bleached, and are on my wrists & ankles; white balaclava & tabi boots; and the sword was really cool, until the facists at ACen made me take it back to my car. All the safety precautions were taken to ensure it couldn't leave the sheath - oh, but "it's the weight." What am I gonna do - bludgeon someone with it!? So, the solid wood clubs people were carrying, THOSE were perfectly safe!?
