Harley Quinn

Batman: The Animated Series

I'M DONE! At first I wasn't all too pleased with it since I used two different fabrics--a 2-way stretch for black and 4-way for red--and have thus had a LOT of problems @.@;; I learned a LOT while making this costume. Maybe it was a bit of a stretch to do this as my VERY FIRST cosplay, but I think I did a wonderful job and I'm sooo proud!! :D

Gloves are HARD. Oy, haha. 4-way stretch is good for cheatso gloves, but they're still super difficult. The collar came out REALLY nicely!! :D Probably my favorite part so far. I do love the pom poms on it! :D

I think the most difficult part was putting in the zipper in the back, due to the different stretch fabrics. Beyond that,... well that's the main one. The cuffs were difficult as well. But the collar was fun, the hat came together on the first try (at 11:30-1AM the night before I left!). Attaching the diamonds was an interesting task. I ended up using a stretch fabric adhesive. One of the black diamonds is coming up a bit on the thigh, but that's NOT bad for what, 15 diamonds total? Nope, not gonna complain :D

So I've COMPLETELY FINISHED everything on my Harley Quinn costume :) (and decided that my hip bones are ZOMGPOKEYYYYYYYYYYYYYY in this suit =P). I fit the arms of the suit a lot closer to me, as well as replaced a slew of parts to the costume.
I've completely remade/replaced the following:
-Black glove
-Wrist cuffs
-Cowl/hat thing
-Bodysuit diamonds

I'm so pleased with this :D Debut is this weekend, so new pictures will go up hopefully <3
