Description

I did this costume full on. I made the pattern by myself which was a pretty big deal, and worked solely off of a front drawing of the character. The white outer exterior is gabardine, and the inside is a kona cotton. I fabric painted on the details on the sleeves in red, and the inside parts are in white fabric paint. The red bias sash was also done in kona cotton. The obi was hand dyed and hand tied each day with a cotton/poly blend. The disk was made out of model magic, a wire base, acrylics (hand painted), and some red organza for flames. This was my first time styling a wig, and I think it came out well. All I did was layer the bottom a bit, and shape the bangs. After that I pinned, glued, and stitched the ears on (microplush on foam), and drew the okami sign on with red sharpie. Though you can't see it, I also have a tail.
