SailorGaia and I had planned to do Rally and Minnie May since January and imagine our glee when we found out Kenichi Sonoda was coming to ACEN! We diligently waited on Sunday for his autograph and was so honored when his editor asked for a picture.
This isn't Minnie May's normal costume, but it is accurate. We lifted our designs off of manga covers and this was just too ADORABLE to pass up. Anyway, Minnie May is supposed to be perpetually "young," so I thought it fit!

The pink jacket, which I love to bits, is a vintage 80's jacket that I got off of Ebay from....Australia...go figure! The heart buckle came from Ebay as well. The belt is one I got from Wal-Mart and I used leftover pink leather paint from my Ninjetti costume to paint it pink--it was originally black. The shirt is also from Wal-Mart and is a young boys Church shirt--honestly, YOU try finding any woman's blouse that is completely white without any extra embroidery or designs!! The grenades I got from our local costume shop and they're actually water guns!! XP I had fun squirting SailorGaia with them ^^b The only work on the wig was adding the bangs--I think it's too long but, whatever, easy costume is EASY. The skirt was made in thirty minutes by SailorGaia as I packed for the con...yeah, we procrastinate A LOT ^^;;
