My first cosplay. I had really long hair, so taking the "first costume" factor into consideration, I didn't want to be complicated about it. Sprayed my hair purple and braided it up with the pull on the top so I wouldn't need wires for the braids to stick out slightly.

The dress was fairly simple since I managed to find a pattern of something EXTREMELY similar. I just needed to adjust it for the extra leg slit and then add the ribbon around the edges. If were to go back and fix it, I'd either get thinner ribbon or fold it around the edge instead of just lining it up. Otherwise, it turned out fairly well.
