This is my second attemt at Kula Diamond Outfit.
Used a Faux Leather material this time, and let me tell ya I was so frustrated with it. There were definatly plenty of moments I wanted to just trow my sewing machine out the window.
I really wanted to be all finished up by AX, but procrastination is always hanging around me. I still have alot to do like Add the Zippers to the jacket sleeves and to the bottom of the Chaps, I didn't get to touch up on the shoes, I also didn't get to the emblem on the back of the jacket not did I get to make a unitard with the aweseme (liquid) leather fabric that I found.
I should also line the jacket and maybe the chaps as well if I dont' get too entirely lazy... or distracted with other costumes.
I'm still looking into a more efficient way to make the metal peices on the gloves.
Foamies and foam clay didn't hold up very well at all. This time around I made a quick set using a rubber Yoga matt. Defiantly more durable, although the matt I had was a bit thick, I think using a much thinner matt would work really well. And don't use hot glue, in the heat the metal peices started to fall out and it was hella painful trying to hotglue the peices to the glove...I'd say an industrial quick grab glue would work fine. That's what I'm using next time.

This new wig I ordered, was alot shorter than expeceted and the color was alot brighter as well, but I still was happy with my presentation and Debute at AX. I can't wait to have it all finished up. Maybe by the end of the year - seeing as how I like to put things off. I'll set a goal for September and I'll probably be done right before January. Ha.
