This was my very first costume. Back in highschool I met a person who was very much into anime, and she got me into it. The costume was inspired by seeing in a craft store the gold-coloured metal rings, and I thought, "Those would be great for a Miroku staff." With help from my mother and grandmother, I made my first costume, and wore it to my first ever convention. I wore it again in 2004, 2005, and 2006.
