Kenshin was my second costume! I only posted it because I feel everyone should know their roots. LOL. I had always enjoyed the series and when my roommates at the time offered to do Saito and Sanosuke, I immediately jumped on the idea.
The first gi was hand sewn, but i later re fabricated it when i owned a sewing machine. It's made of a twill, so rather stiff. the white under gi was faked by only allowing trim in specific areas. my first hakama was bought. the second i made myself. the sakabatou is made of plexi sharpened on one side, and the sheath of foamies. the other pride was my latex scar. lol.
