The cupcake dress! This is probably my hardest costume that I've made to date. I made sure to take my time and make it properly. Everything is lined and top stitched and made using Casa satin. Over 19 yards of fabric got used. o.O The bodice is boned, and all of the ruffles had to sewn on by hand to save my sewing machine from dying a quick death. This was the first time that I've made a petticoat, as well. It's really quite massive. The crown was made from leather and beads were sewn on to achieve a 'raised' look.
