So Ash Ketchum is like my childhood hero. XD I decided to cosplay him at my city's anime convention this year since I love him and figured it wouldn't be that hard of a cosplay. I only had two weeks to get the material and put the costume together, and I made it! Woot! So here's what I did:

Jacket: Definitely the hardest part of the entire costume! I bought a pattern for a men's button up shirt and followed the pattern using my blue and white fabric. I then added the yellow trim, yellow pocket lines, and button things, which were circles of yellow fabric. XD I was worried about it, but I was really proud of how it turned out in the end.

Shirt: Black T-shirt I already had. ;)

Pants/Belt: I had bought a brown belt and a pair of kinda high waist jeans, but they made me look like an old grandpa, (It was hilarious!) so I stuck to a pair of jeans I already had. XD

Hat: I bought the hat from ebay, since I've always loved his hat and wanted one! It's my favorite part of his costume.

Gloves: Also bought from ebay but I altered them, since the wrist part of the gloves were like yellow, and I wanted them light green. I actually used a green hair scrunchie for that. Cut it up and sewed it on!

Shoes: LOL! The shoes were actually my brothers, and they were white when I found them, but I used a black sharpie to make them more like Ash's shoes. I really really loved how they turned out and they are the most comfortable pair of shoes I've ever had on!

Pikachu: Ebay! He's so cute! =D

Hair: Ugh, lol, well I didn't have time to really do my hair the day of the con so I tried my best to stick it up in the car. And at that time, my hair was looong. SO HORRIBLE! I think someone there said I kinda looked like a hobo version of Ash. XD But for these pics, I actually took time putting my hair up under the hat, and it really helps that my hair is a lot shorter now! YAY!

Pokeball: One of those that could be bought at Burger King many years ago. XD
