A lot of people probably thought I just switched costumes with an Etna for this, but we actually made this costume specifically for the art book switch version of Flonne for me to wear. There are some differences from this version and Etna's costume, the biggest being the bracelets and necklace ring being different colors.
This costume was much more difficult to make than I first imagined it would be, mostly because of the pleather fabric, which I hate. Also we didn't have patterns so we just had to make our own from scratch which was scary! And those belts took forever, I keep saying I'm not doing costumes with belts anymore, but they're so cute, I keep going back on my word.
I was a little uncomfortable in this costume because it shows a lot of skin, but I made the skirt a little longer so I was able to manage walking about in it. Those boots were murder on my feet and were super stiff, but I really like how they turned out, only I will darken the lines for the "face" on the boots next time, it's hard to see it in pictures. And man, I am quite petite in the chest area normally, but this costume completely smashed me down, it's the flattest I've ever been, flatter than my crossplays. ;_; Oh well, it's still a cute costume I think. ^_^
