I have wanted to cosplay a Silent Hill monster for awhile, especially Pyramid Head but it has been done like 9 zillion times and often very well. I haven't seen too many Butchers though...i think mainly because of the weirdness of his helmet and his face. He carries a giant cleaver though...so I had to do this. This is cake compared to Ryuk anyway...

My favorite part of the costume actually IS the cleaver. It looks like it has actual weight and is heavy as hell but in reality it weighs NOOOOTHING. (everyone at Otakon wanted me to pretend to cut their heads off...i can't wait to see some of these pics...)

I was surprised how many people actually knew the costume as most Silent Hill fans I know either didn't finish, play, or at all like origins. There were also the oblivious few who were like "pyramid head doesn't look like that deeeert deeerrr guhhhhhh...." yeah i got some of that.
