Ah, I love this outfit a lot. It was my "dream costume" and now I have it! Anyway, I love vinyl, so this is a great oufit. And I love Toshiya. And "Macabre" is my favorite album, so it's all good. It took me a loooooong time to make it though, I calculated over 200 hours of work. It's mainly PVC and this semi-sheer stretchy stuff. Then there's the plastic canvas, duct tape, quilt batting, and the wires that I bought at an auto parts store that hold the whole thing in shape. It was VERY experimental. Haha~ I really had no idea what I was doing!
Wearing it... well, obviously it's a little on the warm side. My only major complaint was the fact that my shoulders got really sore (my range of motion is really cut down). And I got huge blisters on my feet. This was all at Anime Boston though, where I wore the damn thing for 12 hours straight. I've worn it at 2 other cons since then (AX 2003 and Nekocon 2004) and not had so many problems.
