Look, I just adore Giselle. After slaving on two versions of the wedding dress, I secretly wanted to make this one so I could actually run around and enjoy myself without getting stuck in doorways and large crowds. So when my friend Vikki started planning an Enchanted crossover skit for Otakon, I immediately offered to be Giselle and used it as an opportunity to finally make this dress.
AND I AM SO GLAD I DID. It's so light and comfortable and fits me like a dream. The flower pattern took me the longest to complete, since it's all hand-drawn, scanned, hand-cut, and ironed-on from transfer paper. Everything else came together rather well and I had a blast wearing it!
