Despite being fairly simple and plain-looking, I really like being in this costume. I can feel both smarmy and debonair at the same time. XD The jacket and pants are both from my first Reno costume, with the zipper taken out of the jacket. The shirt was the same as well, with the buttons sharpied black. The vest and bow are made from a cotton, the vest lined and interfaced. The buttons aren’t actually functional, as the vest is held closed by snaps. The rose is a fake rose safety-pinned onto the jacket, and the bowtie is safety-pinned to the collar.

I really wish there was more to say about this costume, but there really isn’t. This is a canon outfit, from X-Men: The Animated Series, Season 2, Episode 1 (“’Til Death Do Us Part”). I had a lot of people thinking I was… the Joker. Full sclera contacts, red hair, no makeup… not exactly Joker material, but I suppose it was the suit with the purple and people recently watching The Dark Knight. But I still don’t get it.

I hope to wear this to a few more dances, since the dance I was going to wear it to was canceled and replaced with a rave at the last minute.
