This was my Halloween costume for last year (2007). The dress was bought at Party City, and the wings came with it, so they're not entirely screen accurate, but the dress covers more, which I like, since I'm not so comfortable wearing anything more skimpy. I'm planning to spray my hair with gold hairspray in a bun, and I still have to make the shoes. For school I used pink sparkly ones. They were beautiful, but they weren't Tinkerbell.
Update: Everything's finished! Now I just have to put the pictures up. I wore this to a Halloween party at college. Unfortunately, I wore clothes underneath it and it looked kind of stupid. Not a whole lot of people seemed to like it. My bun kept falling down, and I had a wand... but the star kept falling off the end. It looked haphazardly put together, even though I tried really hard.
The shoes were green with white puffballs taped and bobby pinned to 'em. I think I'm going to hot glue them before I wear this again, if I do.
It looks better as a generic fairy costume. Somebody thought I was the tooth fairy. I did gain a friend through this costume, so that's cool.

[Edit: I am so effing proud of those shoes. I will wear this costume again someday and it will look epic!!]
