I instantly fell in love this guy, he reminds me a Shikamaru so I just had to cosplay him. The costume itself is pretty basic but I ran into some challenges along the way with trying to find squared yellow tinted glasses. What I ended up doing was cutting out “lenses” out of yellow acetate for a substitute. I made a stencil for the ribcage pattern on the hoodie that took WAAAY longer then I thought but overall I'm pretty happy with this costume. The only thing I would change is the wings, this was the last thing to get done and..well... they suck. They got messed up around the con from people bending the wire frame. What I hope to do in the future is remake them out of acrylic, I was just so busy at work to make a proper pair in time for this con (FanExpo 2008)
