Travis Touchdown

No More Heroes

This thing will never be done, I swear.

The two things I get asked about the most:

I made the leather jacket (which has made me hate leather forever) out of red lamb leather - five lambs were sacrificed in the making of this costume. The fur is spraypainted to the right colour - it also made it stiffer and more like hide, since that's what I'd wanted to use in the first place. XD

The T-Shirt was bought and then screenprinted. I sewed the red collar on and added the studs afterward. I don't like it that much though, because the screenprinted design didn't have any of the white in it. I'll eventually replace it... and make this one into a bloodsplattered version, I think.

For the rest of the outfit...

The glove and the second belt were made from regular cow leather. The pockets on the belt, which are still not done, will eventually be made of the same thing. The other belt was store-bought and dyed brown. >>'

The jeans were altered to the point that I might as well have made the damned things... Only I could be dense enough to break the zipper three times while fixing the waistband. And they really need to be taken in like whoa, because they're huge on me.

The sneakers are painted Air Force Ones, and the beam katana is just a Custom FX Lightsaber right now... but it will soon be made into an actual Blood Berry. >>' When I have time to finish it. The glasses were bought at a vintage store, and then I had the lenses replaced with yellow ones.

The wig was styled by the wonderful, awesome Chobrat. ILU Sensei.

... Damn it, Travis, for broke Otaku, your clothing costs too much money.
