I've wanted to do this costume for years, and even bought fabric for it a few times, but it just never happened. I finally put it on my schedule this summer and found the perfect indigo bridal satin (part of why it never got made is that I wasn't in love with the fabric I had).
I thought it would be a simple costume, but the keyhole cutouts and scalloped edges proved to be a little tricky. I'm glad I waited until my skill was up to the task.
I still need to make a custom crinolin that peeks out perfectly and do the tiny scallops on the scallops. I also want to either get a new wig or add some lavender highlights to the current wig.
