My cosplaying partner and I wanted to choose outfits for Dee and Ryo that were based on existing art, so we chose to use the art gracing the covers of the sixth and seventh volumes of the manga. Of course, in true FAKE style, the cut of the clothing is very straightforward--almost store-bought. But the patterns definitely aren't, so it's sewing to the rescue again. This is the first cosplay I've gone so far as to get contacts for.
