Topsy-Turvy Clopin from Disney's The Hunchback of Notre Dame

Topsy-Turvy Clopin

Disney's The Hunchback of Notre Dame

Status: 100% finished | Debuted: Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party 2008

First Uploaded: 09-28-2008 | Last Update: 09-28-2008

Description

I love Clopin, and I wanted to do a Disney character for Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween, but there's no reasonable way I could have done his original male form. So! I ruined him the same way I do every other character I like, but do not look like. Female version.

Remarkably, several people at The Magic Kingdom figured out what I was going for. One cast member yelled "Aha! Greetings to the Queen of Fools!!"
(However, many other people didn't even know who Clopin was when I explained it to them... And several people thought I was Esmeralda, which is rather more understandable.)

I'm very proud of my mask, because it's the first time I've made a paper mache mask since I was a kid, and I'm thankful it didn't end up looking like a 5-year-old made it. (And I love my huge nose.)
